Kiwi summer carols
Kiwi Christmases have their own distinctive summery flavour, along with their own distinctive sound.
‘Meh’ to snow, sleighbells and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. How about beaches, baches, and burgers on the barbie. Carol Our Christmas: an upside down Christmas is a collection of contemporary New Zealand carols. Next Wednesday there’s a chance to sing them in a special carol service at Wesley Broadway.
The ‘Kiwi Carols’ event features songs specially composed for an Antipodean Christmas.
