Kiwi folk duo play
Globetrotting Kiwi folk duo The Bollands have returned to New Zealand to embark on an inaugural nationwide tour.
Husband and wife act Christian and Joyce Bolland have been travelling the world playing venues and festivals since 2012, have but have yet to do a tour of New Zealand.
‘‘We have been so busy over the past few years that the opportunity to play back home just didn’t happen,’’ Joyce says.
The Bollands play foot-stomping folk music, and have a reputation for earthy energetic live shows as well as melodic ballads. The duo

‘‘Last year we played in about 30 cities in China,’’ Joyce, who is pianist and drummer, says. ‘‘At first we struggled being on the road all the time.
