Aholiday haven for kids and carers

For the kids

School holidays can be cracker, or they can be a curse. Fortunately there are a number of entertainment opportunities to keep youngsters and their carers, occupied.

Top kids performers, Amy Hunt and Annie Dalzell, have created their own holiday show for children aged between 0 and 10. Amy as Glitzy Bop and Annie as Bossy Bop are presenting The KiwiBop Show next week at The Globe from April 18 – 22.

A well-known and established duo, Amy and Annie’s madcap musical escapades have been enjoyed live by hundreds of children, showcased on two CDs, and on DVD with Jim Henderson’s Flossie and Cracker Jim.

More than simply a series of songs, dances and drama, this KiwiBop show comes with a storyline.

Glitzy and Bossy are arranging a dance party and the first half of the production shows their crazy preparations for the event.

As always Glitzy is ditsy and gets the preparations wrong so Bossy has to take over and make sure everything’s ready for the party in the second half. When it all comes together, the first half audience get to be second half party participants.

The storyline introduces Dino Boy, a funky hip hop dinosaur, and the Mini Bops – six children who will demonstrate the moves and encourage members of the audience to take part.

The KiwiBop Show is at The Globe next week from April 18 – 22 at 11am. Visit The Globe box-office or website for tickets.

Together Amy Hunt (aka Ditzy Bop) and Annie Dalzell (aka Bossy Bop) are children’s entertainment duo, KiwiBop. Their show plays all next week at The Globe.
