‘‘Winners’’ of the 2015 Roger Award for the Worst Transna­tional Cor­po­ra­tion Op­er­at­ing in Aotearoa/ New Zealand were an­nounced dur­ing Satur­day’s May Day Con­cert in the Globe.

The panel of five judges named IAG/State In­surance the win­ner, ahead of Serco with Bun­nings third. Fourth time fi­nal­ist IAG/State won for list­ing its Christchurch quake costs dis­clo­sure in the lower tax ju­ris­dic­tion of Sin­ga­pore, for pay­ing only 10 per cent tax dur­ing the first half of 2015, for its lack of per­for­mance in set­tling Christchurch quake claims, and for its high paid CEO.
