The retirement of long-serving Globe Theatre manager, Bruce Warwick in February, has resulted in the position being shared by three people.

Following a review of the role, the three are Virginia Warbrick, William Muirhead and Roger Buchanan.

In announcing the appointments, Globe chairperson Stephen Fisher says they bring a depth of experience which covers all aspects of the Globe’s administration.

With a Master of Arts Management from AUT, Virginia is the national events coordinator for the New Zealand Choral Federation, a concert master for Chamber Music New Zealand, a director of music at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Broadway, and co-leads Toi Warbrick in developing Maori arts projects.

Former editor of Massey University student magazine Chaff, William has published a book-length history of the magazine The Wheat from the Chaff, and is a freelance author of local histories. For the last three years, he has acted as assistant theatre manager and the Globe’s finance and marketing manager.

Roger is one of Manawatu’s preeminent musicians with years of experience in theatre, music, arts management and education.

The three took up their positions earlier this month.
