SUGARY SATURATION

The Tribune (NZ) - - OPINION | CONVERSATIONS -

There is a big deal going on about kids’ sporting heroes supporting sugary drinks and food, and a lot of blame is going towards the sports stars and the companies.

What about the parents [who are] letting their kids’ teeth rot with Powerade? And what about the sugar-laden artificial ‘fruit juices’ featuring kids’ favourite TV and movie characters such as Frozen, Bob the Builder, Dora and many more?

These are being sold right in front of the kids at a level they can see them, as well and being sold at kids’ play areas such as Lollipops Playland that have a whole fridge full of these fruit juices.

Why hasn’t the company that makes these been questioned, and why is a children’s playland promoting these?

Where is the water stand?
