FROM THE EDITOR

The Tribune (NZ) - - WELCOME - – Richard

It has been as challenging as it has been rewarding. Nearly four years ago, I took over as editor of this proudly popular community paper. In that time, things have changed profoundly.

It has been a privilege to pilot The Tribune through these evolutions – especially the one a year ago that comprehensively redesigned and refocused the paper.

Things are continuing to change. This is my last issue of The Tribune as its ‘‘editor’’ – the role has been redefined with a greater online emphasis, while I will continue to gather content and write for the paper.

I’m pleased that finally it has been given extra resources to help tell the stories the city and its communities generate.

We are particularly looking forward to extending our scope and exploring opportunities through the Neighbourly social media site.

Happy reading.
