No­tice to all you im­pa­tient mo­torists who think it’s all right to run the just-turned-red light. What you crim­i­nals may not be aware of is that nine times out of 10 the next traf­fic light cy­cle is the ‘‘cross’’ for pedes­tri­ans.

So, be­fore you mur­der some­body dur­ing your ‘‘harm­less’’ law-break­ing, take a mo­ment to think about it. Is a dead or maimed per­son, and years in prison re­ally worth the two sec­onds you may gain run­ning a red light?
