Les Baty, [ The Tribune 29/06] the Iraq invasion was singly lead by America on false pretenses. All research since that decade-ago ‘‘weapons of mass destruction’’ assertion show, like all wars, it was a resource grab.

That’s oil. In all the years of Saddam Hussein we never saw the atrocities that continue on a daily basis thanks to America’s deliberate chaos wrecking strategy. John Key, of course, doesn’t care or he wouldn’t have spent his life-making multimillions banking on the wars needed to fill the desires of the ultra rich. And it’s only taxpayers that pay for bringing body bags home, so no skin off Key’s nose. The writer also mentions Palmerston North refugees radicalising. That can happen to anyone, refugee or not, who feels slighted and isolated. The solution to stopping terrorism is to stop using NZ military to prop up corporations invading countries to make riches by killing innocent people .
