FROM THE EDITOR

The Tribune (NZ) - - YOUR PAPER, YOUR PLACE -

Wacky wigs, wild dinosaurs and cricket fields of dreams make for a bright and cheerful Tribune this week.

The weather has certainly warmed up in the past few weeks so it’s been the perfect time for people to start getting out and about in the community - especially with the school holidays in full swing.

With this newfound spring zest, don’t get too busy and forget to vote in the local elections.

There’s only a few days left and if you’ve left it this late you’ll want to make sure you hand deliver your voting papers to the council office because it’s unlikely the post will arrive by the cut-off of Saturday at midday.

I’m looking forward to seeing who our new council and mayor will be and what their plans are for our city’s future.

Keep up with the live coverage on The Tribune Facebook page and manawatustandard.co.nz.
