The Tribune (NZ) - - TERRACE END EASY SHOPPING -

The team at Terrace End are always happy to help with their approachable, friendly and welcoming manner. Terrace End Law is your friendly local law firm. The team at Terrace End Law is Necia Parker, an experienced and registered Legal Executive who is supported by her personal assistant Tina Eames, Lawyer Mary Spillane, who specialises in relationship property and their receptionist Christabel Burne.

Necia has extensive knowledge and experience in: Residential and rural conveyancing, refinancing, estates, Wills and Power of Attorneys and Trusts. She will work with you to ensure your transaction, whatever it may be, will be the smoothest, simplest and most efficient for you. No question is a silly question and Necia works with her clents so they have a good understanding of the nature of their transaction.

Having grown up and worked in the Manawatu, Necia also has a good rapport with the local business community.

Mary’s principal area of practice is relationship property. Her client- focused approach acknowledges the pressure and uncertainties that are faced by her clients after a relationship breakdown. She is dedicated to ensuring each client has a full understanding of their legal rights and options empowering them to make the right decisions.

Mary is dedicated to achieving timely, cost-effective solutions by giving sound, results-focused advice and by providing robust representation to her clients. She says a major concern for any client dealing with a relationship property dispute is the amount of capital they will walk away with when settlement is achieved.

There are many misconceptions about the law of relationship property, Mary says. It is a complicated area of law, and all sorts of difficulties can arise if people rely on commonly held beliefs. This is one reason why it is vitally important people seek legal advice at the earliest opportunity. Another area of Mary’s practice is Contracting Out Agreements which enable a couple ot make their own decisions about the legal status and ownership of the property owned by either or both of them and to have those personal decisions embodied in a binding agreement which essentially overrides the application of the law.

At Terrace End Law a big focus is customer service and keeping clients informed every step of the way, and keeping their clients’ transactions as simple and as stress free as possible.
