Hypnotherapy helps to make changes
If you are ready Shirley is ready to help!
‘‘Hypnotherapy has become one of the most trusted and effective of all natural therapies and can assist with habits, confidence, anxiety, stress, sleep, motivation, feeling positive and becoming 100 percent smokefree,’’ says Shirley Henderson.
Shirley has been a well-known massage therapist in the Manawatu for 17 years. She says her passion is to help people so she’s embarked upon her own journey to train and provide hypnotherapy along with her therapeutic massage.
Shirley completed her training with Hypnosis New Zealand 12 months ago, enabling her to provide skilled therapy treatment for her Manawatu clients and recently started an ongoing education programme in hypnotherapy.
‘‘Hypnotherapy is the process of using suggestions and visualisations, designed to help people achieve any desired goals or positive change by facilitating new patterns of behaviour,’’ Shirley says.
‘‘I help clients make positive changes in their lives to enhance their overall wellbeing.’’
Shirley says that the majority of clients only need one session to address their issues and that massage therapy is a timeless classic treatment that helps to alleviate stress, burnout, strains and pains.
‘‘Administered to my clients from a positive perspective, it’s all about filling my clients with positive motivation,’’ she says.
‘‘I treat each of my clients with integrity and respect and it’s my goal to have everyone leave my clinic feeling better than when they arrived.’’
Shirley points out that massage and hypnotherapy are two separate but complementary treatments that she provides.
‘‘If you’re suffering from stress, are burntout, feeling overwhelmed and just needing some time out, then either massage or hypnotherapy or both can play a significant role in how you feel,’’ she says.
Shirley welcomes existing or new clients to her practice and asks people needing a professional and confidential appointment to contact her on 06-356-4871 or 027-269-0655.
