Do you think dog poo is a problem for our city?

Personally, I’m not too sure about that, but would more rubbish bins around the city ever be a bad thing? I think not.

I think the council parks and property manager John Brenkley’s excuse that residents would abuse extra bins by dumping household waste in them is weak.

If that’s the case, it must already be an issue with the limited public bins already available, so why not address that separately?

More bins will not only keep our city clean, of rubbish and dog poo, but it will send a message that being tidy Kiwis is a priority for us.

It’s coming up to the end of the year, so I encourage those clubs and organisations who make use of our What’s On page listings to get in touch and let us know what’s going on for your groups over the holiday period and into the new year.

We’d appreciate your information as soon as possible, otherwise your listings may be excluded.
