Perfect timing for Pike River drama

The TV Guide - - MR TELLY - Earle Foster (Invercargill)

A well-deserved accolade must be delivered to Prime TV for replaying the Pike River docu-drama on Sunday, August 26. This media event correlated perfectly with the excursion by spokesperson Bernie Monk into the plagued mine interior, as well as possible eventual confirmation of a potential all-out re-entry. The effortless blending of real-life interview footage and dedicated re-enactment superbly highlighted the narrative of an atrocious mining disaster “virtually waiting to happen”. The necessity for bereavement closure and criminal accountability is more prevalent then ever.
