has ap­pointed Gavin Smith to the role of se­nior vice pres­i­dent in­ter­na­tional. The new role sees him re­spon­si­ble for all sales, mar­ket­ing and com­mer­cial op­er­a­tions for Royal Caribbean In­ter­na­tional, Celebrity Cruises and Aza­mara Club Cruises in Europe, the Mid­dle East, South­east Asia, Latin Amer­ica, the Caribbean and Aus­trala­sia. Mr Smith opened RCL’s first Aus­tralian of­fice in 2008 and tak­ing over his role as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor RCL Cruises Aus­tralia and New Zealand will be Adam Arm­strong, who has 15 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in cruis­ing, most re­cently as re­gional com­mer­cial di­rec­tor, re­spon­si­ble for sales, mar­ket­ing, rev­enue man­age­ment, de­ploy­ment and pub­lic re­la­tions in the Asia-Pa­cific re­gion. The out­go­ing se­nior vice pres­i­dent in­ter­na­tional Do­minic Paul has ac­cepted a po­si­tion as chief ex­ec­u­tive of a UK based busi­ness.
