New hotel for Samoa
Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa owners Gavin and Lou Brightwell recently held a soft opening for their new property Saletoga Beach Bungalows & Hotel, formerly Hideaway Samoa. The couple bought the property a year and a half ago and have been working tirelessly on renovating the hotel block and building the new beach bungalows. The restaurant, two bars, conference centre and the beach bungalows are now open for bookings. The deputy prime minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa who is also the member of parliament for the Lotofaga constituency, cut the ribbon and officially opened the hotel. Pastor Aileone Foaga from the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kosena Matatufu conducted the dedication prayers. Guests were then treated to a traditional kiwi barbeque. Renovations on the hotel block are expected to be finished by the end of July.
