A Kiwi science communicator will take visitors on a journey hundreds of millions of years into the past at Waikato Museum this weekend. Geology and palaeontology expert Dr Hamish Campbell will reveal what Aotearoa’s landscape was like in the time known as the Permian –
250-300 million years ago. His talk supports the museum’s Permian Monsters: Life Before the Dinosaurs exhibition, which features life-sized moving models and fossilised skeletons of the animals that once ruled the world. The talk runs 3-4pm tomorrow at Waikato Museum Te Whare Taonga o Waikato.
