If you’d like to try your hand at the del­i­cate art of wine blend­ing, you’ll need to be quick to get in on The Pinot Project led by Josh Scott at Al­lan Scott Fam­ily Wine­mak­ers. Three of their best “clones” plus their “best of the best” Scott Base re­serve are in­cluded. The chal­lenge is to com­bine the three clones to blend your own ar­ti­san pinot noir. Josh Scott out­lines The Pinot Project, left. Sheep milk has been used in Europe for cen­turies as an in­dul­gent treat for food lovers. We see it in qual­ity cheese and now in sheep milk gelato from Spring Sheep Milk Co. The new gelato in town comes in dark choco­late and vanilla bean flavours and lives in a very cute tub. I sug­gest you grab two of your favourite chewy-style bis­cuits and sand­wich a scoop be­tween them, for a gelato sand­wich.
