Block NZ’s winning house this year is offering it up for someone else to live in. Amy and Stu’s house at 27 Frances Bryers Rd in Hobsonville, Auckland, attracted the highest price under the hammer when the television programme’s properties sold earlier this month. The couple finished the season of the show with winnings of $169,500. Now the three-bedroom, twobathroom townhouse is listed for rent on Trade Me at $820 a week. Property manager Shannon Anstis, from Ray White Austar Property Services, said the house was bought by a friend of a Ray White agent who planned to keep it as a rental property. The purchase settlement was not until the end of the month but already she had received an application from a prospective tenant. She said there was strong demand for rental houses in the area.
