Arrest in death inquiry

A 56-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, following the death of 69-year-old Trevor Rikihana on January 30. He was to appear in the Rotorua District Court yesterday, police said in a statement. The man was located in Napier and arrested on Thursday night. Inquiries into the death of Rikihana are continuing and it was likely that more serious charges would be laid in due course.
