Former MP talks
In a public lecture, Te Ururoa Flavell will look at whether the nation wants an independent Ma¯ ori voice in Parliament.
The former co-leader of the Ma¯ ori Party will reflect on his time in Parliament and life afterwards, as well as the loss at the last election, and what he sees as the imperative that the Ma¯ ori Party be rebuilt.
The lecture starts at 6pm on Wednesday, July 18 at the University of Waikato.
The lecture is part of an ongoing series of public seminars which are hosted by the Political Science and Public Policy Programme.
