New CEO for Pukaha
Leading Wairarapa wildlife centre Pukaha Mount Bruce has a new chief executive.
Emily Court will replace Helen Tickner, who stood down at the end of August. She will take up the role immediately after Labour weekend.
A Christchurch native, Court moved to Wairarapa two years ago after spending the previous five years working in a business recovery role following the 2010 and 2011 Christchurch earthquakes.
During her tenure at her previous role, she led a recovery programme for the International Education sector which included securing a $5 million funding package.
She has had experience in banking, retail, economic development and international education, most recently with the Wairarapa branch of Public Trust as a professional trustee and manager.
Chairman of the Pukaha Mount Bruce board Bob Francis said he was delighted to announce Court’s appointment.
‘‘Pukaha is in the process of planning several new and exciting developments which Emily will lead and we welcome her to the team.’’
