From the president
As always, the A & P Association has been very active over the past year with the showgrounds, hosting Football Waitaki through the soccer season and Dog Obedience North Otago. Along with various events throughout the year, this has ensured continued use of the grounds.
My thanks needs to go to our groundsmen who are continually working to keep the grounds in good condition.
Thanks also needs to go to Plunket Electrical, who, as our major sponsor for the show, provides support to the organisation at various levels from electrical, financial and technical support for which we are very grateful.
The general committee needs to be mentioned for its tireless behind-the-scenes work, without which the show would not take place. From the newest members to our life members and patrons, they have gone out of their way to support me as the president, making my job much easier.
I would especially like to thank the A & P Association secretary, whose tireless and valuable work ensures things get done.
Finally, I would like to extend my thanks to the public who support the show and other activities the A & P Association is involved with. Without their support none of these events can continue.
I am looking forward with great excitement and optimism for a very successful 2015 show.
Optimistic: North Otago A&P Show committee Matthew Miller is looking towards a successful 2015 show.
Show time: The show is the time rural and town people alike can show their prime stock or produce, horses and dogs among other things.
