In­ner Wheel donates to Vic­tim Sup­port

The Oa­maru In­ner Wheel has given a do­na­tion of $560 to the Oa­maru Vic­tim Sup­port group, to help the group sup­ply lit­er­a­ture for the Oa­maru Com­mu­nity.

Vic­tim Sup­port is a pro­fes­sional needs based ser­vice sup­port­ing the Oa­maru com­mu­nity and pro­vides in­for­ma­tion, sup­port and as­sis­tance to vic­tims, wit­nesses, friends and fam­ily.

The money will be used to buy copies of the book Death With­out Warn­ing, as well as ac­tiv­ity pads for chil­dren.

The In­ner Wheel Club is one of the largest women’s vol­un­tary ser­vice or­gan­i­sa­tions op­er­at­ing in the world. They op­er­ate in 103 coun­tries and have more than 100,000 mem­bers.

The In­ner Wheel Club of Oa­maru has been op­er­at­ing for more than 40 years here.
