Inner Wheel donates to Victim Support
The Oamaru Inner Wheel has given a donation of $560 to the Oamaru Victim Support group, to help the group supply literature for the Oamaru Community.
Victim Support is a professional needs based service supporting the Oamaru community and provides information, support and assistance to victims, witnesses, friends and family.
The money will be used to buy copies of the book Death Without Warning, as well as activity pads for children.
The Inner Wheel Club is one of the largest women’s voluntary service organisations operating in the world. They operate in 103 countries and have more than 100,000 members.
The Inner Wheel Club of Oamaru has been operating for more than 40 years here.
Anyone who would like to become a volunteer for Victim Support can contact Sharyn.
