Waitaki Boy’s team is a new team and the first time for them in com­pe­ti­tion. The Jenkin’s tro­phy com­pe­ti­tion com­menced last week. Points gained af­ter round 1; En­field 1, Pukeuri 3, Tokarahi 1, Oa­maru Rail­way 3. Tokarahi was beaten by Pukeuri 97.66 to 96. En­field lost to Oa­maru Rail­way, 99.33 to 94.
