The Zonta Club of Oamaru recently held its changeover dinner when a new president and board members for 2015-2016 were inducted by district foundation ambassador and past district 16 governor Lynette Grave.

The club thanked Jill Squire for her work as president over the last two years, Hilary Bishop for her secretarial help and Andrea Armstrong for support as treasurer over the last three years. Jill will still be serving as immediate past president on the 2015-16 Board.

Helen Algar spoke about her work in the Community and Safer Waitaki. The Zonta Club works with Helen on the Safer Waitaki Committee for the annual White Ribbon events so it was a good opportunity for the club members to hear more about her work.

The club is looking forward to the coming year led by new president Cailleen Trengrove.
