MTA Show and Shine
100 years of MTA in New Zealand.
This year the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is celebrating 100 years of business in New Zealand.
The North Otago Branch of the MTA would like to celebrate this by having a show and shine in the carpark behind (sea side) Scotts Brewery.
Any car, make or model is welcome including motorbikes.
This is a celebration of 100 years of motoring! So whether its old or
please. new, Japanese, English or a Yank Tank, it will be welcome.
For vehicles on display we request a $10 entry fee to cover spot prizes. Entry for veiwing is a gold coin donation an dall proceeds will go to the Cancer Society.
Special guest Alan Dick will be speaking with our MC Geoff Omnet about the history of motoring in NZ and the North Otago Area.
There will be prizes, including a chance to win a copy of Alans Book ‘One Hundred Years of Trust’.
A well known motoring journalist and former radio talkback host, Dick was commissioned by
run an open mic for part of the show. So, come along for superduper afternoon of fun. The evening will be supported by the great Music from Dee May and the Saints. This is a non-profit event with any proceeds donated to charity.
