Walk­ing in Kakadu

World Ex­pe­di­tions is launch­ing a new Walk­ing itin­er­ary in Kakadu Na­tional Park. The park cov­ers 20,000 square kilo­me­tres and is listed as a World Her­itage area. The new Kakadu Walk­ing Ad­ven­ture itin­er­ary has been crafted to in­clude a se­ries of day walks as well as many of the ‘must do’ ex­pe­ri­ences, such as the Yel­low Wa­ters Cruise, Jim Jim Falls, Nourlangie, Gun­lom and a visit to Litch­field Na­tional Park. Car­ry­ing just light day packs, the walks will be up to 15km per day with trekkers re­turn­ing to the semi-per­ma­nent camp site each af­ter­noon. The site is fit­ted with flush­ing toi­lets and so­lar heated show­ers with com­fort­able stretcher beds and swags to sleep on each night.
