Walk­ing in the Ta­tras of Slo­vakia

through a for­est of spruce, rowan, oak, wil­lows and many dif­fer­ent species of pines.

In­for­ma­tion boards gave de­tails of the wild life in this area - lynx, brown bears, wolves, owls, ea­gles and wood­peck­ers be­ing the most com­mon.

Reach­ing Strb­ske Pleso, we took a chair­lift to en­joy our last views of the awe­some scenery in the high ta­tras, be­fore catch­ing a train back to Po­prad, and the end of six magic days in the moun­tains.
