A Walker’s World is of­fer­ing The Great Ir­ish Ad­ven­ture – a com­bi­na­tion of ac­tiv­ity, ad­ven­ture and dis­cov­ery. This 12-day ad­ven­ture ex­plores Ire­land’s pop­u­lar spots plus se­cret off the beat­en­track areas that most lo­cals have never seen. Jill Grant, manag­ing direc­tor of A Walker’s World, says it starts and fin­ishes in Dublin and cov­ers the sights be­tween the Gi­ant’s Cause­way in the north east and the Blar­ney Stone in the south west pack­ing in walk­ing, cy­cling, out­door ac­tiv­i­ties, leg­endary sites and a ton of scenery. High­lights are Belfast, the walled town of Derry, the Antrim Coast, Done­gal, Cliffs of Mo­her, Con­nemara, Gal­way, the three penin­su­las of the south west, be­ing Kerry, Done­gal and Beara. Trans­porta­tion is by 4X4 wheel drive ve­hi­cles that go off-road deep into the coun­try­side. Each day there are mul­ti­ple choices and va­ri­ety of ac­tiv­i­ties, from golf to is­land cruises, to ex­pe­ri­ence Ire­land in-depth. Groups are small with no more than 13 par­tic­i­pants and ac­com­mo­da­tion is in high qual­ity ho­tels (some­times manor houses), lodges, B&Bs plus one night in an Ir­ish cas­tle.
