This 12-day adventure explores Ireland’s popular spots plus secret off the beatentrack areas that most locals have never seen. Jill Grant, managing director of A Walker’s World, says it starts and finishes in Dublin and covers the sights between the Giant’s Causeway in the north east and the Blarney Stone in the south west packing in walking, cycling, outdoor activities, legendary sites and a ton of scenery. Highlights are Belfast, the walled town of Derry, the Antrim Coast, Donegal, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Galway, the three peninsulas of the south west, being Kerry, Donegal and Beara. Transportation is by 4X4 wheel drive vehicles that go off-road deep into the countryside. Each day there are multiple choices and variety of activities, from golf to island cruises, to experience Ireland in-depth. Groups are small with no more than 13 participants and accommodation is in high quality hotels (sometimes manor houses), lodges, B&Bs plus one night in an Irish castle. Departures are each Monday from 22 April to 7 October and the cost $5390 share twin. www.walker Right: Discover on foot the Beara Peninsula in Ireland’s south west.
