From the editor

Never trust anyone who says “trust me” but, trust me, our Michael Mosley profile this week is riveting and hilarious in equal measure. The BBC broadcaster, doctor and author is a self-described guinea pig, putting himself on the line to test his theories on health and diet. The success of his books and efficacy of his regimes have been well-documented but in this interview, Catherine Woulfe by no means drinks the Kool-Aid. He also recounts personal stories, like the time he hiked through the Amazon to try to find the woman he’d fallen in love with — without having any clue where she was. He’s not a man of half measures.
