Truck speeds

Weekend Herald - - Viewpoints -

According to a recent article in Australia’s Silicon Chip magazine, truck speedometers are more accurate than car speedometers. So if you’re driving along with your speedo on 90km/h and all you can see in your rearview mirror is the grille of a Kenworth, it’s probably because you’re only doing 85km/h. Also, modern highway trucks have cruise control, whereas a lot of car drivers don’t seem to be able to maintain a steady speed.
