Stars breeze in for big royal wed­ding

Hol­ly­wood’s elite joined Bri­tain’s who’s who to cel­e­brate the mar­riage of Princess Eu­ge­nie and long-time part­ner Jack Brooks­bank last night in a cer­e­mony which in­cluded a fall, fly­ing hats and breaks from tra­di­tion.

Eu­ge­nie — ninth-in-line to the throne — wore a longsleeved gown by Bri­tish de­sign­ers Peter Pilotto and Christo­pher De Vos, an emer­ald-en­crusted tiara bor­rowed from the Queen and no veil.

The grand­daugh­ter of the Queen ar­rived at Wind­sor Cas­tle’s St Ge­orge's Chapel in a 1977 Rolls Royce Phan­tom VI, ac­com­pa­nied by her father, Prince An­drew, the Duke of York.

Her mother, Duchess of York, Sarah “Fergie” Fer­gu­son ar­rived ear­lier with el­dest daugh­ter Princess Beatrice, who was dressed in royal blue as maid of hon­our.

The star-stud­ded cer­e­mony of 850 guests in­cluded Naomi Camp­bell, Demi Moore, El­lie Gould­ing, Liv Tyler, Kate Moss, Ricky Martin, Jimmy Carr, Pixie Geldof, Cara Delev­ingne and James Blunt.

The cou­ple’s guests’ arrivals pro­vided much en­ter­tain­ment for on­look­ers as they held onto their hats while en­ter­ing the chapel with the wind threat­en­ing to blow them away.

Their six brides­maids and two page boys in­cluded Princess Char­lotte and Prince Ge­orge, the el­dest chil­dren of Eu­ge­nie’s cousin Prince Wil­liam and wife Kate, as well as Theodora Wil­liams, daugh­ter of singer Rob­bie Wil­liams, who at­tended with wife Ayda Field.

Eu­ge­nie’s cousin Lady Louise Wind­sor was a spe­cial at­ten­dant who helped wran­gle the chil­dren, one of whom, Louis Givenchy, had an un­for­tu­nate trip on the steps up to the chapel.

Prince Harry and new wife Meghan were back at the chapel where they mar­ried in May.

The Queen, dressed in pow­der blue, at­tended with Prince Philip, who it was ear­lier re­ported would leave it up to the last minute to de­cide whether he would at­tend. Prince Charles at­tended alone as wife Camilla had a prior en­gage­ment in Scot­land.

Singer An­drea Bo­celli per­formed two songs dur­ing the nup­tials.

Brooks­bank, 32, is a drinks in­dus­try ex­ec­u­tive and am­bas­sador for Ge­orge Clooney’s tequila com­pany, while his 28-yearold wife is an as­so­ciate di­rec­tor at art gallery Hauser & Wirth.
