Wharf extensions

Weekend Herald - - Viewpoints -

I was on a cruise which arrived in Havana, Cuba, where the ship was far longer than the wharf. All they did was bring the mooring lines back to the wharf. The ship was very stable and did not require a “bollard” mounted out in the harbour.
