Lending a helping hand
This week’s Thanks a Bunch goes to Shahied Kahn from Henderson.
He was nominated by Doreen Fester from Pakuranga.
‘‘I would like to nominate Shahied Kahn from Tony’s Tyre service in Henderson for his kindness.
My son had a car accident last Thursday. I phoned Shahied on Sunday without a second thought he agreed to borrow my son a car.
The reason for my nomination is he doesn’t know my son very well.
He gave the car, no money was exchanged. My son can use the car until his insurance pays out. Shahied has done various acts of kindness for me, without any monetary reward.
He is one of the most kind and thoughtful people that I know, he is willing to help anyone no matter who they are. He services my car without question. I can phone him anytime no matter what time of of day or night. He does everything with a smile and a no problem attitude.’’
