FROM THE STAFF
With the election looming we are taking seriously here at the Western Leader our responsibility to bring the public information that they need to know to cast their vote.
Today’s is the first in a series of special issues in which we are shining the light on differences between the candidates standing in west Auckland’s five general electorates.
You will find their responses on euthanasia and abortion on the following pages are varied.
In the coming weeks we will also be looking at whether they see crime as a problem and what they would do about it.
Then we will be asking them on what they think of transport in their electorates, the legality of cannabis, housing and poverty, and whether they see immigration as a problem.
I hope that you find these editions informative as you consider who you would like to represent you.
