Head along to the Te Whau path­way plant­ing day at Arhibald Park, Kel­ston on Septem­ber 9 from 12.30pm. Gloves, spades, ex­per­tise and re­fresh­ments pro­vided.

3. GO­ING WEST FES­TI­VAL

Through­out Septem­ber, as part of the Go­ing West Fes­ti­val, a range of local peo­ple will tell their ex­tra­or­di­nary sto­ries in per­son at the Glen Eden Li­brary. Starts on Septem­ber 5 at 11am.

4. KOANGA FES­TI­VAL

The Koanga Fes­ti­val is start­ing at Te Pou The­atre, 44a Portage Rd in New Lynn and will run from Septem­ber 1 till 17. For more de­tails go to tepouthe­atre.nz.

5. WRESTLING

Live pro­fes­sional wrestling shows are back with wrestlers such as Just Plain Evil and Delilah bat­tling it out at Kel­ston In­ter­me­di­ate School on Septem­ber 9 from 6pm.
