Celebrity Chefs Annabelle White and Ray McVinnie to demonstrate their culinary skills
Popular television and radio cooking personality Annabelle White is synonymous with good food and fun times in the kitchen. Annabelle believes that keeping food simple, easy, “confidence building” and delicious, mixed with plenty of tips, funny quips and great recipes make for good times for family and friends. Annabelle was a long time food columnist for the Sunday Star-Times and also wrote the popular Food Detective column. She is the former food editor for NZ House & Garden and the New Zealand Women’s Weekly.
Ray McVinnie believes in getting the best quality products that suit your budget, eat real food, cook it well and share it with people you like. Ray has always had a passion for food. A professional chef for many years at some of Auckland’s best restaurants, he was Executive Chef at Auckland’s Metropole Restaurant for 6 years. He has been a food writer and advisor at Cuisine magazine, celebrity judge on Masterchef NZ, food columnist in the Sunday Star-Times, Sunday magazine and is now working with Bite Magazine.
Annabelle and Ray will present two demonstrations each day in the Cooking Demonstration area. Nutritious and delicious food will be their theme with each demonstration lasting over half an hour. These demonstrations are free to attend.
