2 x 600g shop-bought

mud cakes dou­ble quan­tity of but­ter­cream as per Brush­stroke Cake, with ex­tra ½ cup ic­ing sugar green and pur­ple food

colour­ing

1. Trim tops from cakes to level.

2. Di­vide but­ter­cream be­tween three bowls. Tint one with green colour­ing, one with pur­ple and leave one bowl untinted.

3. Ice top and sides of the stacked cakes with untinted but­ter­cream. Us­ing pip­ing noz­zles, pipe flow­ers and shapes onto the top and sides of cake.

4. Dust with ic­ing sugar be­fore serv­ing.
