MAKE YOUR OWN SHORT­CRUST

Woman’s Day (NZ) - - Everyday Food -

1. Sift 1½ cups plain flour into a large bowl. Rub in 125g chopped cold but­ter.

2. Add 1-2 ta­ble­spoons cold wa­ter. Mix to make a firm but pli­able dough.

3. Knead lightly. Wrap in cling film. Chill for 30 min­utes to rest.
