MICHAEL’S TOP TIPS FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING

Your Home and Garden - - Yh&g + Escostore -

> Grow your own produce. If you don’t have the space for a full vege plot, try a fruit tree or some pots with common kitchen herbs. You’ll get an immense sense of satisfaction from growing your own garnishes and the flavours are just so much better.

> Swap your cleaning and laundry products out for ecostore, they’re good for the environment and for you. Since we’ve had the girls, it’s become increasingly important for us to make sure we don’t have any unnecessary chemicals in the house.

> If you keep forgetting to take your reusable bags to the supermarket, have a rule that you can’t use the plastic ones. Trying to carry all your groceries to the car without bags will soon get you into the habit.

> Keep your Mason jars. They’re fantastic for making your own salad dressings, keeping homemade sauces and relishes and for taking a packed salad to work for lunch.
