Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Nurudeen Oyewole, Lagos

The remains of legal icon and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Godwin Olusegun Kolawole, aka G.O.K. Ajayi, who died on Saturday April 29, 2014 will be buried on May 29 in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Family sources told Daily Trust that the burial was fixed on that day to coincide with the 83rd birthday of the late legal luminary.

“Before late Chief Ajayi died, he left directives on how he wanted to be buried with his eldest daughter, Tola, who flew into the country from Canada following the death of her father,” the source said.

The source, who does not want his name in print, said it is not clear whether the late lawyer would be buried at the Anglican Communion Church cemetery or his personal house in the Government Reservation Area, GRA, Ijebu Ode.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Prophet Kehinde Okuneye said the family was already meeting and making arrangements on how to give the late legal icon a befitting burial.
