The ongoing centenary fair at the Jeremiah Useni International Trade fair complex, Abuja, has witnessed huge participation by government agencies.

Ministries, departments and agencies of both federal and state governments including universities were on hand to showcase what they do and create better awareness to the teeming visitors at the fair.

Notable amongst the participants are the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) and Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST).

The Director General of the Abuja Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ABUCCIMA), Joe Wenegieme, said: “We are pleasantly surprised by their participation. They took ownership of the centenary fair and have made their presence hugely felt.

“We have over 250 exhibitors, including a few friends from Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, India, Gambia, Zambia and Mali with a daily visitors of 800 to 1000 people,” the DG said.
