NFF yet to receive list from Keshi -Lawal

News of the purported 35 man provisional World Cup list from Super Eagles Manager Stephen Keshi omitting Chelsea duo of Mikel Obi and Victor Moses has turned out to be false.

The speculation going round yesterday turned out to be an April fool’s day Joke that got intense unwarranted attention from leading media establishments.

Ex-Eagles International and Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee member Garba Lawal said he believes the purported list is false because the Committee hasn’t heard about or received any list from Keshi.

“We are charged with the responsibility of going through whatever list he has for the team and we haven’t seen any yet, as you’re aware we’ll be meeting next week to discuss all issues regarding World Cup, so by then you’ll know”

Stephen Keshi himself hasn’t confirmed the list’s release adding doubts whether the list was actually from the Manager with some saying how could he even contemplate dropping two of his most experienced Players in Mikel Obi and Victor Moses.

Victor Moses (L) of Nigeria and Chisamba Lungu of Zambia duel for the ball during the 2013 African Cup of Nations match at Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit, South Africa.
