Katsina or­ders 34 Peu­geot am­bu­lances

The Katsina State govern­ment has or­dered 34 units of Peu­geot Part­ner long am­bu­lances to en­hance med­i­cal ser­vice de­liv­ery in the 34 lo­cal govern­ment ar­eas of the state.

The or­der was made when Gover­nor Ibrahim Shehu Shema re­ceived the Ex­ec­u­tive Man­age­ment team of PAN Nigeria Limited dur­ing a cour­tesy call in Katsina, a state­ment by PAN spokesman, Musa Bashir, said.

The gover­nor, in his ad­dress, said apart from ur­ban and ru­ral de­vel­op­ment, his ad­min­is­tra­tion places high pri­or­ity on qual­i­ta­tive health care de­liv­ery, ed­u­ca­tion, in ad­di­tion to youth em­pow­er­ment and de­vel­op­ment.

Ac­cord­ing to the gover­nor, the state govern­ment will soon go into part­ner­ship with PAN Nigeria in the area of auto ca­pac­ity build­ing for youths in the state, cur­rently un­der­go­ing train­ing in auto re­lated fields at the Katsina Youth Craft Vil­lage.

He said the train­ing will fur­ther broaden their scope and ex­pose them to lat­est tech­nol­ogy in auto me­chanic, mecha­tron­ics and body work and paint work. Gover­nor Shema also added that the youth will have the op­por­tu­nity of be­ing ac­cred­ited by a world class au­to­mo­tive com­pany.

The gover­nor com­mended the new ef­forts of the Ex­ec­u­tive Man­age­ment of PAN in mar­ket­ing the prod­uct na­tion­wide say­ing, “for one to sur­vive in this com­pet­i­tive mar­ket­ing world, one has to fash­ion a strat­egy for win­ing.”
