Daily Trust - - BUSINESS - From Abdullateef Aliyu, Ilorin

Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the federal government to put in place necessary policies that would enhance the success rate of the cash-less economy being driven by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

According to Ahmed, the cash-less policy requires to be pursued, not mainly by the CBN but by the FG with the deployment of necessary infrastructure, especially power while the band must evolve critical success factors for the policy.

Ahmed made the call when the CBN sensitization team on cash-less policy visited him at the Government House, Ilorin, said with cash-less economy, corruption would become the first victim as movement of cash and attendant tendencies for corruption will reduce critically.
