…Prayers for late ex-INEC scribe
The third-day prayers have been held for the repose of the soul of a former Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Alhaji Adamu Bawa Mu’azu. He died at the National Hospital Abuja on Monday after a protracted illness at the age of 64. The third-day prayers were held on Wednesday in Minna. Until his death, the late Mu’azu was the Executive Secretary of National Merit Award Center. He was survived by two wives and 19 children. Niger State Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, through spokesman Danladi Ndayebo, said the deceased would be remembered for the role he played in entrenching democracy in the country.
