Head of Ser­vice tasks work­ers on dis­ci­pline

The Head of Civil Ser­vice of the Fed­er­a­tion (HCSOF) Al­haji Bukar Goni Aji has urged federal civil ser­vants in the coun­try to con­duct their af­fairs in a most dig­ni­fied man­ner ca­pa­ble of true rep­re­sen­ta­tion of the Ser­vice.

Aji, who was rep­re­sented by the Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary Ca­reer Man­age­ment Of­fice, Mo­hammed Ab­bas in an in­ter­ac­tive ses­sion with federal civil ser­vants in Kaduna State fur­ther en­cour­aged them to be hard­work­ing, in­dus­tri­ous, loyal and be of ex­cel­lent man­ner.

He said the ses­sion was to ap­prise the work­ers of re­form ini­tia­tives in the Federal Civil Ser­vice geared to­wards repo­si­tion­ing the Ser­vice for ef­fec­tive pub­lic ser­vice de­liv­ery and its role of ini­ti­at­ing and im­ple­ment­ing govern­ment poli­cies and pro­grammes”

In his good­will mes­sage, the Chair­man, As­so­ci­a­tion of Se­nior Civil Ser­vants of Nigeria, Kaduna Federal Chap­ter, Com­rade Ibrahim Yusuf Nda com­mended Aji for the ses­sion, de­scrib­ing it as a step that would rein­vig­o­rate the Civil Ser­vice to ef­fec­tively play its leading role in the ex­e­cu­tion of poli­cies and pro­grammes en­cap­su­lated in the Trans­for­ma­tion Agenda of the Federal Govern­ment.
