Dakingari harps on wa­ter treat­ment

Gover­nor Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi State has warned of­fi­cials of the Min­istry of Wa­ter Re­sources to en­sure that wa­ter sup­plied in the state is prop­erly treated.

Ac­cord­ing to a state­ment by his Chief Press Sec­re­tary, Al­haji Abubakar Mu’azu, the gover­nor gave the warn­ing while in­spect­ing equip­ment for a ru­ral wa­ter sup­ply project.

It was gath­ered that the equip­ment in­clud­ing drilling ma­te­ri­als, chem­i­cals and pipes were sup­plied to five ben­e­fit­ing states namely; Kebbi, Niger, Taraba, Ondo and Enugu, fol­low­ing an agree­ment signed be­tween Nigeria and Ja­pan two years ago.
