NFF Technical Committee wary of Keshi’s ‘antics’

Daily Trust - - SPORT - By David Ngobua

Contrary to insinuations that the proposed April 22 meeting between the NFF Technical Committee and the Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi is going to be a hot one, a member of the committee has said members are wary of the ‘antics’ of the coach and would do everything to avoid any confrontation with him. In recent times, there has been no love between the coach and the committee members but the two would be meeting to discuss Super Eagles World Cup preparation and participation.

Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday on condition of anonymity, a prominent member of the NFF Technical Committee said the committee members have no plan to impose any player on the coach.

He said advice would be given to the coach based on the list he would submit to the committee but the final decision would be left to him to take.
